Standard Course

  • 20 lessons per week (9:00 am - 10:30 am / 10:45 am - 12:15 pm)
  • The Standard Course is organized around intensive acquisition of four skills (oral and written production and comprehension). It is designed according to the official recommendations of the CEFR and allows assimilation and vocabulary, grammar and structures, oral and written intensive practice, as weel as an approvach of the French culture and civilization.

  • 30 lessons per week (9:00 am -  10:30 am / 10:45 am -  12:15 pm + 3 afternoons from 1:15 pm - 3:50 pm)
  • Start: Every monday except for absolute beginners.
  • Levels: All levels (A1 to C2).
  • Number of students:  5 - 8  (maximum 10).

 

In addition to the Standard Course, the Intensive Course offers 10 extra french lessons orientated mainly on oral expressions, and a deeper look into french culture and civilization. This comprehensive course will particularly develop communication skills in discussions, listening comprehension, phonics or oral expressions, helped for instance through presentations students will give. In contact activities which take place outside of school may also be organized during the intensive course, followed by related exercises.

Combination Course

  • 20 + 5 lessons per week (9:00 am - 10:30 am / 10:45 am - 12:15 pm + 5 lessons One to One training)
  • Every monday except for absolute beginners.
  • Levels: All levels (A1 to C2)
  • Number of students: 5 - 8 (maximum 10) / One to One lesson: 1

This course combines the dynamics of the Standard Course with individually prepared private courses. Before your first private lesson, you will inform us on your specific goals so that the teacher can prepare a unique course just for you. The teacher can also help you define your goals during the first course.

The One to One courses can also be an opportunity to look into technical vocabulary (hotel industry, tourism, medical, legal, etc.), or to prepare for a particular exam.

Business French

  • 20 + 10 lessons per week (9:00 am - 10:30 am / 10:45 am - 12:15 pm + 3 afternoons 1:15 pm - 3:50 pm)
  • Start: Every monday (see dates).
  • Levels: All levels from B1.
  • Number of students: 5 - 8 (maximum 10)

In conjunction with the Standard Course, this course provides an intensive training in oral and written communication for the business world, with scenarios such as speaking in meetings, job interviews, negotiations, telephone calls, etc. It emphasises particularly on the lexicon of specialties; Continuos practice of oral expression will take place, students exchanging spontaneously about professional experience and personal knowledge.

This course is suitable  for anyone wishing to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

Long Term Course

  • 20 o 30 lessons per week Standard Course or Intensive Course.
  • Start: Every monday except for absolute beginners.
  • Levels: All levels (A1 to C2)
  • Number of students: 5 - 8 (maximum 10).

The course content is the same as for the Standard or intensive Courses; throughout your whole learning yo will receive regular tutoring from our educational advisor. If you book and Intensive Course, you will be able to change to a DELF / DALF preparation course if you wish to.

Private Training

  • 20, 25, 30 o 40 lessons.
  • Levels: All levels (A1 to C2)
  • Number of students: 1 .

Private courses are fully customized french language lessons. After a needs assessment is set, you let us know your specific language goals so that the teacher can build a course matching your will.

The teacher can also help you define your goals during the firts course.

You can practice technical vocabulary (for hotel industry, tourism, medical, legal, etc.), or prepare for a particular exam.

This course is ideal for professionals, executives and those with little time wanting to progress very quickly.

1 lesson = 45 minutes

During the summertime (July/August) and high season, we reserve the right to change the schedule of the courses in order to garantee a better quality of reception and trining of our students.

DELF/DALF Exam preparation course

  • 20 + 10 lessons per week (9:00 am - 10:30 am / 10:45 am - 12:15 pm + 3 afternoons 1:15 pm -  3:50 pm)
  • Start: Every Monday except for absolute beginners (see beginners dates). If you want to sit the exam during your stay, please do consult exam dates.
  • Number of students: 5 – 8 (maximum 10).

The DELF B1, DELF B2 and DALF C1 exams are prepared during a specific course in which students receive intensive training for each level of the examination. Preparation  courses for exam last six weeks and end the week before the exam takes place.

However, we recommend a stay of 8 to 12 weeks for optimal preparation. You will start with an Intensive 30 lessons course, which offers the most comprehensive training in french, and provides you with the necessary basic knowledge to be able to undertake specific exams.

The DELF A1,  A2 and DALF C2 can be prepared during a Combination Course.

You will cook together with the star cook a main course with all the sauces and side dishes and a dessert. The international atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Of course, one speaks french during the cooking class, so you can learn french and also practice your french during your cooking course. The course is very visual, so that even participants with little knowledge of french can fully benefit.

 

You will get coocking apron and you will be informed of the exact course schedule. You will receive the detailed recipe and all the kitchen appliances and products will be explained to you. A great way to learn some extra french during your french immersion stay in France!

 

Your cooking class will start. You cook together in small groups or you will prepare some parts of the recipe on your own, all under the supervision of the star chef.

 

The last hour is dedicated to enjoy the meal on site at the restaurant  of coocking school. The star chef will eat with you and is at your disposal for any question or for general discussions about cooking. Of course, he likes to share many cooking tips with you and will tell some stories from his long cooking career. At the end you will receive a folder with the recipes and also your cooking diploma!
